Empty Bowls & the Carbon Valley

The  Carbon Valley Help Center is excited to host our 9th annual Empty Bowls  Project for our community in 2023. ! Join us for food, fun, and  entertainment! Donate to the Carbon Valley Help Center and receive a  handcrafted ceramic bowl to take home as a reminder of those who face  hunger every day! Then join us for a meal of soup, bread, and dessert  donated by local restaurants. Your generous donation will help raise  awareness of hunger and homelessness in the Carbon Valley and  surrounding area. All proceeds will help pay utility bills,  rent/mortgage payments, and auto repairs for those in need in Carbon  Valley.

We have served over 800 people this year, which  is a 26.6% increase compared to the same time last year.   This includes  51 new households that received services from  the CVHC for the 1st  time. The need is real and right in our backyard.   This year to keep our bowls from being empty, we not only need to fill  them with love & hope but also physical as well as financial  resources so we can give to our neighbors.
